hi friend.
It really is good to see you. After a few years of a dormant blog and silent keyboard keys, God has been prompting me to return to the space of sharing heart things. There is no ulterior motive, no publishing contract, future speaking gigs, side hustle or political bent that is prompting any of this.
It’s about being obedient to what is my next right thing. This week brings another birthday that puts me farther into the 50 decade. I am giddy and shocked all at the same time.
Shocked by how fast it rolled on by.
Shocked at how old my adult kiddos are.
Shocked at how little time there seems to be left.
Shocked at how much time I have wasted on all the wrong things.
Giddy that He’s met me in such a sacred and holy space.
Giddy that I am learning so much new about being self-aware, what self control in God’s economy looks like.
Giddy that my heart and soul seem to have been splayed wide open. It’s hard, gross, awkward and so very JOYFUL.
Giddy and wildly expectant
There you have it. Good to see you.
Grateful to have dusted the welcome mat off and opened the front door for you. I’m looking forward to building community with you and laughing really loud.
